Sweating a little... Sorry guys there has been a lot of things going on in life and work gets in the way so i haven't had enough time to write. Well here's chapter 13 and chapter 14 isn't far behind. I promise. Oh and if you find spelling errors tell me in the comments and I will happily fix them. Thanks:D (Big Grin)

Awakening from your strange, unbearable slumber, you carefully rolled onto your back to look up at the bottom of your cellphone. You had somehow ended up under the glass coffee table after drinking the sleep-inducing drink. Giving a long yawn and joint popping stretch, you kept your hands above your head as the stinging pain reawaken in your abdomen before intensifying which suddenly stopped. All you could remember from last night is that after drinking the warm milk, Sans and yourself began to doze off then he began to lean on you forcing you to take havoc on the floor. A soft groan left your lips a you took hold of the table legs to pull yourself out just as Mettaton walked into the living room.

“Aaahhh!” He lifted his leg back up before he stepped your hand. “WHAT THE HELL (M/N)! What were you thinking? I almost stepped on you.” He let out a sigh, flipping his shiny, black hair out of his eye. “Anyways what are you doing on the ground?" You pointed to Sans back as small snores left the figure before sitting up to rest your chin on the coffee table.

“Ah~ poor baby”, he cooed as he gave your head a small pat before grabbing the controller and sitting down on the single seat couch. Another yawn left your lips before the Phantom Souls appeared beside you with tired looks as the TV began to show the channels being flipped through until it stopped on a morning soap opera.

~~~~~~~~ small time skip ~~~~~~
It had been minutes until you had decided to cut the Phantom Souls’ entertainment to go eat some breakfast. The dining room was full of smiles and laughter when you had entered, now you were alone eating (fav. Breakfast) while you were scrolling down on your UnderNet Newsfeed. Papyrus had created it for you about two days ago, and you already had 32 friends.
“Mornin’ kid” Sans waved his spoon in the air, sending small droplets of milk to fly around. You jumped almost dropping your phone before sending a glare at his direction.
“Oi w- weren’t you just asleep?”
“Nope” he picked up some colorful circles with his spoon before eating them. You carefully studied him as he continued eating. ‘How the heck does his body work?’ you thought to yourself as you kept watching him eat his cereal.
“Something wrong kiddo?” your continuous stare must’ve began to make him nervous as small beads of sweat began to roll down his forehead.
“No… Uh… Just thinking. Sorry”, you whispered the last part, barely enough to be heard. A few minutes had passed and he left you alone as the television noise filled the empty air of the house. Everyone seemed so concentrated on the soap opera that three loud knocks had scared them out of their wits.
“Oh (M/N), darling~”, Mettaton called into the dining room while annoyance laced his voice, “There’s someone at the door.”
Incoherent mumbling was the only answer you gave him as you trudged towards the door. ‘It’s too early for visitors. And who has the time to drive up here? Weirdos.’ Three more knocks resonated just as you opened the door, letting the cool morning air hit your face.
“Mornin’ (M/N)”, Tashiro held up his hand before you stepped aside letting him in. Shedding the semi thick coat, he walked into the living room before being tackled to the ground by a tall skeleton and two small children.
“TASHIRO!!”, the trio yelled with glee before dragging up to his feet. He dusted off his pants before he was pulled into a crushing hug given by Papyrus.
“HAVE YOU COME TO PLAY WITH US?” Papyrus swung him around like a rag doll.
“Not reallyyyy…”, he breathed out starting to look a bit blue in his face. Just before he fainted, Papyrus let him go allowing him to take in a sharp inhale of fresh air. He stumbled around as he regained a normal oxygen level. “I was here to… Ahaha… I feel a bit lighted headed… Woo… Okay so I came to invite all of you to the spa house today.”
“EEEE!!”, Papyrus turned away from a gasping Tashiro to look at you with large wide eyes, “CAN WE HUMAN? CAN WE?”
You pinched the bridge of your nose before looking up to see that everyone had gathered around Papyrus while giving you their best pleading look.
~~~~~~~~~~Meow :3 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The drive was long and stressful as the van was crowded leaving no one with elbow space making a few of them annoyed with one another. You had to turn around and yell at them every so often threatening on heading back home. It didn't took long for the spa house to appear. It seemed the same from the last time you remembered, which you really can't recall.

Two women were sitting at the front desk, one seemed to be in her mid twenties while you recognized the other to be Yanma, Tashiro's mother.

"Oh, goodness look at you", she pulled you down to her level by your shirt's collar while she examined your face. "You grew tall and handsome. You have wife yet?"

"No not yet." Averting your eyes from her you saw that the group were talking to young lady who was sitting behind the front desk. She seemed overwhelmed by all of them talking to her.

"How are you going to have handsome babies", she took hold of your ear before pulling you lower so she could whisper in your ear. "I help you." She looked around to see the Monster still talking with the lady. There was a weird look in her eye making you nervous.

"What about that beautiful goat lady. She like a blooming lotus or what about those two. The fish one looks strong, she might be able to protect you.” She laughed before looking over to see my reddening face. “Or you might have other preferences. That mountain of fur looks nice, bad thing he might be related to goat lady. How about those two skeletons? I don't know how it will work but you can get freaky-"

"Okay!", you yanked yourself from her iron like grip. Everyone turned attention towards you seeing your flustered expression while Yanma smiled innocently. "I think that's enough. Can I just get the keys please?"

"Sure" she gave you a smile and walked to the desk before handing you three keys and a note. You took the keys, thanked her and left down the long hall that led to an elevator.

~~~~during elevator ride~~~~
Everyone talked among each other while you hummed to the elevator music. There was a small tug on your sleeve making you look at Asriel, who held curious eyes at the small folded paper that peeked out from your fist.
"What did she hand you?” Asriel asked as the elevator was quickly reaching its destination. You shrugged before opening the note to find something written on it. You flushed different shades of red before crumpling it up and eating it as Asriel tried to read it from beneath. You had reached the three rooms and everyone left their small belongings in the room where they were going to sleep in for the night. After everyone settled down, they went down to the first floor and headed to their respective changing room except for you and Frisk, who kept switching their attention between both changing rooms.
“How about we change in our room?”, you knelt to their height and ruffled their brown locks. They giggled as they nodded before following you to the large room that was meant for you and … well let’s just keep it at that.
After tightly wrapping a towel around their waist, you both went outside to join everyone at the outdoor hot spring. It was reserved for you and the monsters giving you time to relax knowing that nothing might go wrong. Oh but little did you know that something was bound to ruin the day. You leaned back on your hands and let your mind wander around the world until some water splashed your face. Laughter came from in front of you as you cleaned the water near your eyes.
“Ha ha ha”, you looked up to see Sans and Frisk laughing at you.
Water you thinkin’ about?” Sans asked with his usual grin. Right when you were going to answer, Frisk interrupted.
“I think he mist your question. You should repeat it?” Sans grin grew wider by a mile before they both broke into laughter. You kicked some water towards making Frisk flinch. “Oh it’s on.” They began to splash you as the three of you began to laugh, catching everyone else’s attention. Soon enough everyone was splashing each other while you still sat on the edge. Frisk grabbed your and tugged on it, trying to get you into the warm water.
“Umm… I prefer to be here”, you slipped from their grip before scratching your head. They pouted. Getting out of the water, they tried their best to push you off the edge but they couldn’t make you budge even a centimeter.
“uh… kid. I, uh, don’t think that’s a good idea”, Sans reached out trying to catch the small child’s attention but before he was able to, Papyrus took hold of your other arm and pulled you by surprise. The sudden action had caused you to gasp, allowing some water to enter your lungs. You popped back on the surface and gripped where you were sitting before and began to cough. All the laughter, all their smiles had turned sour when they saw the bandages through your wet shirt. Blood began to slowly seep through your shirt making everyone mumble their worries. Without an exchange of words, you pulled yourself out and headed back into the resort.
“Oh no”, Alphys hurried out and went after you. Sans wasn’t too far behind as he exited the water making everyone yelp in surprise.
“BROTHER!!”, Papyrus shield his eyes at the sight of his brother, “WHERE IS YOUR TOWEL?!”
“Oops”, as if on cue a towel reached the surface of the water before it was scooped up and held around the waist of its owner.
~~~~~~time skip brought to you by Sans floating around in the hot spring~~~~~~~

Using a clean, dry towel, you shook the water beads from your hair before drying it. You occupied the large room rented out to you after leaving everyone in the hot spring. 'Hopefully they can enjoy the resort after what just happened’, you thought looking at the fluffy towel. Drying off your hands, you moved your magic onto your (domin.) palm before placing it on your wet wounds, the healing magic was enough to create a scab over them. You sighed seeing no improvement in your magical abilities as you took some new bandages and gauze pads and re-wrapped your injuries before pulling on a clean undershirt. Taking your satchel and dug around until you found what you were looking for. The old journal. You flipped through the olden page until reaching where you had left off.

Entry #2                        Date: Unknown

This is Wes writing. Of Monster kind. We, the researchers, have finally taken a glimpse of a Soul. It was during a death that the Soul appeared. There was a small colored glow before it vanished into nothing. As most already know, some monsters have the ability to see a Soul while it is not at its weakest point. However, we are not able to describe it in words. It is something extraordinary that must be seen with one’s eyes. The Mage is working on a spell that allows others to see Souls as well. Hopefully it is a success since the research is on Souls. It wouldn’t be very helpful if only a few of us can see them.

It was a success. S.T has succeeded in creating a spell allowing him to see the Soul of any living thing but during the creation of the spell, his Soul gained a long fracture causing his health to lower by 10.

There were three loud knocks followed by the door being slid open. Shoving the journal beneath the futon, you looked back to see Alphys and Sans standing in the doorway. Your expression changed to that of annoyance as Sans stood there with his usual grin.

“A-are you o-okay (M/N)?” Alphys asked as she walked into your room while Sans followed behind.

“Huh?... Oh yeah I’ll be fine. Just need a power nap that’s all.” You lied looking away from her worried gaze. She meekly answered with a small okay before walking away taking Sans with her. You laid down hearing them standing outside your door as they whispered to themselves. Their silenced voices lulled you into an unwanted sleep.

Small golden petals fell from an opening up above. Looking around, you found yourself in an old stone building. Tall columns held it from collapsing as a small village could be seen far in the horizon. Looking out into the village, you noticed that it wasn't the city that you were living in. It was more undeveloped. Yeah that's the word you were looking for.

 "Beautiful. Isn't it?" A raspy voice spoke from behind. You turned around to find an elderly lady kneeling on a red rug. She motioned you to come closer but you stood there uncertain of trusting her. She frowned and motioned to you once again but this time when she curled her finger, you were pulled towards her before stopping mere inches from the rug. She pointed down, you were forced into a sitting position.

“How did you-”, she held up he hand silencing you before she smacked her gums.

“I don’t have enough time to answer your questions”, she pointed to the large braid that hung on the wall behind her, “The braid behind me shows every single Mage family and the generations, whether they be past, present, or future. You have read the history behind Mages, correct?”

You nod.

“Good. At the top, we have the 7 main clans. Within time the clans began to intertwine with one another creating the main braid”, she pointed to a small burn spot that was in the main braid, “The death of Boroso’s father.” She pointed to another that was on a smaller braid. “The death of Blair, Len’s twin brother. Every burn spot symbolizes the death of a mage.”

 Your attention shifted to where the large braid ended and where a smaller one begun.

 “The night where most of the mages were killed”, you ran your fingers over the small rough braid before they reached another large burn spot. “Is this the day-?”

“Yes,” she flipped the braid over showing you a single unharmed string, “The day you were left behind to fend for yourself. The braid ends here not because you are bound to reach your end but because it is uncertain of your future. It senses a great danger coming. You must prepare yourself and continue the braid.”

 “Here”, she handed you a small bleeding heart flower, “Promise me that you will keep this flower with you where ever you go.” You nod once again. She clasped her hands over your before pushing them close to your chest. There was a large explosion in the city making the both of you to look at its direction before she made you look back at her.

 “Hurry close your eyes and count to three. And always remember that you have never been alone and never will be. Take care small one.” Following her instructions, everything surrounding you began to spin making you cringe at the sudden movement.

 When everything had stopped, you meet the sight of the familiar dull, foggy forest. Beneath you shone the petals of a bunch of small buttercups, giving you a comforting feeling before it was swept away by a chilling laughter. Standing up, you unknowingly dropped the small bleeding heart flower and headed straight into the forest.
